LifeStraw E-Gift Card Terms and Conditions
These E-Gift Card Terms and Conditions are applicable to your LifeStraw E-gift cards.
General Terms
LifeStraw e-gift cards are distributed by LifeStraw. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions without notice, from time to time, in our sole discretion. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law. If any of these terms and conditions are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that unenforceable term will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining terms and conditions. We reserve the right, without notice to you, to void e-gift cards without a refund, suspend or terminate customer accounts, cancel or limit orders, and bill alternative forms of payment if we suspect that an e-gift card is obtained, used, or applied to a LifeStraw account fraudulently, unlawfully, or otherwise in violation of these terms and conditions. E-gift cards may not be used in connection with any marketing, advertising or other promotional activities without LifeStraw’s prior written approval. Use of LifeStraw’s name, logo, trade dress or trademarks in connection with the purchase or use of an e-gift card is strictly prohibited. The use of e-gift cards in any manner that states or implies that any person, website, business, product or service is endorsed or sponsored by, or otherwise affiliated with, LifeStraw is prohibited without LifeStraw’s prior written approval.
Limitations
LifeStraw e-gift cards can be purchased in whole dollar amounts with no maximum and are redeemable only for purchases online at Lifestraw.com. At this time, e-gift cards may only be purchased and redeemed in the U.S. E-gift cards cannot be redeemed on prior purchases or exchanges or on purchases of other Lifestraw.com e-gift cards. E-gift cards cannot be reloaded, refunded, transferred to another e-gift card for value, redeemed for more than face value or redeemed for cash or credit (except where required by law). E-gift cards may not be resold; any e-gift cards purchased through any unauthorized resellers are not guaranteed by LifeStraw. There is no expiration date for your e-gift card.
Please treat the LifeStraw e-gift card like cash and safeguard accordingly. LifeStraw reserves the right to refuse to accept e-gift cards that LifeStraw believes, or suspects, were obtained fraudulently.
Disputes
To the fullest extent permitted by law, these terms and conditions and any claim or dispute arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions, LifeStraw Privacy Policy, the website, or LifeStraw e-gift cards, will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to principles of conflict of laws. Except as otherwise prohibited by law, any claim or dispute must be brought within one (1) year from the date the cause of action arises. Any claim or dispute arising out of or relating to dispute arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions, LifeStraw Privacy Policy, the website, or LifeStraw e-gift cards shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of state or federal courts in the State of Maryland and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. By using a LifeStraw e-gift card you agree to comply with these terms and conditions, and not to use an e-gift card in any manner that is misleading, deceptive, unfair, or otherwise harmful to LifeStraw, its affiliates, or its customers.
Limitation of Liability
LifeStraw makes no warranties, expressed or implied, with respect to e-gift cards, including without limitation, any express or implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. If an e-gift card code is non-functional, your sole remedy, and our sole liability, shall be the replacement of such an e-gift card. E-gift cards do not expire or lose value. Certain state laws do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. If these laws apply to you, some or all of the above disclaimers, exclusions, or limitations may not apply to you, and you might have additional rights.
Fees
No fees will be imposed on purchasers or recipients of e-gift cards in connection with the sale of e-gift cards. Sales tax is not charged when buying e-gift card; however, purchases paid for with e-gift card will be charged applicable sales tax if the purchase shipped to an address where tax is payable.
Returns & Risk of Loss
All sales of e-gift cards are non-refundable and final. If you purchased a LifeStraw product using an e-gift card and would like to return that product, payment will be refunded to the original e-gift card; all returns will be subject to LifeStraw’s Returns policy.
Ownership and risk of loss of e-gift cards passes to the purchaser as soon as we send our confirmation to the recipient. LifeStraw is not responsible if any e-gift card that is lost, stolen, or used without your permission.
E-Gift Card Customer Service
If you need assistance with any aspect of your purchase, ownership, or use of your e-gift card, please contact info@lifestraw.com. Please refer to your order number or to the delivery email address or phone number to which the e-gift card was delivered.
Delivery Information and Requirements for E-Gift Card Purchasers
E-gift cards will not be delivered until the checkout transaction is completed. If the date on which you want an e-gift card delivered has passed and you have not received confirmation that the e-gift card was sent, please contact info@lifestraw.com. Please refer to your order number or email address. We are not responsible for e-gift cards that are undeliverable or not received due to your failure to enter an accurate email address or phone number for the recipient. Should an email or phone number be returned to us due to inaccurate delivery information for the recipient, we will attempt to contact you for valid delivery information.
Reasons for Failed Delivery of E-Gift Cards
If you have confirmed the recipient's email address or phone number but the e-gift card has not been viewed within a reasonable period after the requested delivery date, the following is a list of the most common reasons why delivery may have failed:
• Spam filter blocked email or routed it to a bulk/spam folder
• Recipient's firewall blocked the email
• Email inbox is over size limit
• Invalid email address
• Invalid phone number

Personalized Messaging
If you wish to add a personal message to an e-gift card, simply type your message in the Message field on the e-gift card preview after choosing to customize your e-gift card. If purchasing multiple e-gift cards for multiple recipients, you must purchase each e-gift card separately to create individual messages for each. There is no additional charge to include a personalized message.
