"I love my Life Straw pitcher and drink container and it very convenient to be able to change the filters"
Lifestraw Go series.
"I love these. With the revelations around chlorine treatment of municipal water supplies this product constitutes another way to prevent the infiltration of our bodies with chemicals."
Exactly what I expected. Fit
"Exactly what I expected. Fit perfectly"
Work great
"I’d leave a five star review if I could (it only let me pick up to four stars). I love my Life Straw, we use the pitcher and water bottle daily. I feel prepared for life and for possible disasters having it with me!"

"As with all of the many LifeStraw products we own, these filters are easy to replace and provide our family with confidence in the quality of our drinking water."
Great for travel
"It was very convenient… I wish there was a product with life straw. You could just produce water to mix into something things. , like a hydrating powder mix or something… drinking right out of the straw it’s straight water… which is good, but I ended up buying bottled water too mix things with"
Great taste, need a bulk-er pack!
"Love the filter replacements coming in compostable/recyclable paper packaging!!! Since I go through these fast (every two months as recommended) and the 6-pack sometimes goes out-of-stock, I would love if there was a 12 pack for a 2 year supply, or a 24 pack (if possible 🥹). I would buy the heck outta them!!"
Q&A
- I need filters for my water pitcher. I don’t see them on your website here along with the 20% discount.
- Thank you for reaching out — we’re happy to help! Your LifeStraw Home pitcher or dispenser uses two filters, each with a different purpose and replacement schedule: 1. Membrane Microfilter Replace once per year, or sooner if water flow slows or stops. It physically blocks contaminants, and filtration will stop once it’s full. 2. Activated Carbon + Ion Exchange Filter Replace every 60 days for maximum performance. It reduces chemicals, heavy metals, and improves taste and odor. Over time, it becomes less effective as it absorbs impurities. You can go to https://chatgpt.com/c/67eac0d4-94dc-8000-a073-a27db8bbed80# to order replacement carbon filters.
- Does it filter out fluoride?
- Our filters do not remove fluoride from water.
- which bottle does this work with? I have an older Go bottle with the clip
- The carbon replacements are good for all Go bottles - new and older models. This will work with your bottle.
- What is the chlorine rate removal of this filter. Any numbers that can give a ballpark idea of effectiveness? Thank you.
- The performance results of the carbon filter can be found in the lab report for the Go Series bottles. Specifically, chlorine removal results are found on page 9 of the evidence dossier: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2631/0778/files/Go_Series_Evidence_Dossier.pdf?v=1681403260
- Hi. What is shelf-life of this carbon filter while it is sealed? Thanks
- LifeStraw products do not have an expiration date or shelf life. If the carbon filter is sealed, it is safe to leave in storage for as long as needed. Once opened, the carbon filter should be used and will have an effective lifespan of approximately 60 days.
- Ive been removing the silicone mouthpiece everytime i drink in case microbes are on my mouthpiece. Should I be removing the mouthpiece or is it magically antimicrobial?
- You can but do not need to remove the silicon mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is not specifically antimicrobial, but it is easy to sanitize and disinfect. We recommend cleaning your bottle - including the lid and its components - on a regular basis.
- Hello, the water has taste of synthetical or chemical substances after filter replacement. Is that normal because of a new filter?
- Hi Ondra! We recommend rinsing the carbon filter before use to remove any dust and debris - including odor. This taste should improve over time with continued use.
- How often do the filters have to be replaced? Both the membrane filter and the carbon filter.
- Hello Sandy! Please email us at info@lifestraw.com for more support.
- How long do these last? How often should you replace?
- Hi there! Our replacement carbon filters for LifeStraw Go lasts up to 2 months with regular use. We recommend replacing this when you notice a change in smell or taste of your water.
- Is this a coconut catbon filter?
- Hi Mike! There is no coconut in our filters.
