Peace of mind and improved taste

"Love it! Water tastes noticeably crisper/cleaner in flavor, and I love that I can fill it up anywhere without having to worry about old pipes, unknown water sources, etc. The bottle itself is very high-quality with thick glass and a soft silicone sleeve. I've not noticed any leaking with the lid either. The only purchase considerations to make are as follows: 1. In order to drink the water, you have to suck on the mouthpiece like a straw. This should be obvious given the name, but if you prefer to pour water, this isn't the bottle for you. 2. It's definitely a bit heavy. The solid glass and filter feature do contribute some weight. If you're toting it around, you will notice the extra heft, especially when it's full."

    Nice and convenient

"I really like the glass material. It feels nice to hold and high quality. It makes me feel more confident to drink water from the tap, no weird odor or smell. The water actually tastes the more or less same, just bringing the peace in mind. It's very easy to clean and dry out fast for daily use."

Great glass water bottle for everyday

"I recently started using the LifeStraw glass water bottle and I am really happy with it. The glass design is one of my favorite features because it feels clean and safe for my health. I appreciate not having to worry about plastic leaching into my water. The filtration works well and gives me peace of mind that I am drinking cleaner water wherever I go. It is also comfortable to carry and easy to clean. I plan to keep using this bottle because it fits perfectly into my daily routine and makes staying hydrated simple and enjoyable."

    Great for travel

"I was introduced to LifeStraw water bottles thru a friend that was on a travel tour to Morocco. She had used it for at least a year and talked about how if filtered water and she always felt safe while traveling in various countries. I decided to order one and use it. Haven’t had the occasion to use it out of the country yet but have used it at home. Have no complaints"

All the perks in one bottle!

"I was looking for a new glass water bottle. I like glass for health and taste reasons, even though you need to realize that it will not keep water cold as the metal ones. To still get chill water, I fill it with ice and only small amount of water - it does the trick. The filter is also a fantastic add-on, just be careful to stick water and not juice as our daughter ruined her filter with juice. The mouthpiece is new to me, was a bit strange at first as you need to suck on it but you get used to it. Despite the fact that it is glass and fairly large it not awfully heavy like some of my past bottles. Overall this is all that wanted in a bottle and it might help me drink more water!"

    Emmanuelle P. (5/5)

    It's so good

"This is such an amazing water bottle. I've been using this for a few weeks and I love the packaging of this and the design. It keeps my water really cold and the filter in this really helps the water be clean. It's super comfortable to hold. It's not heavy at all and it doesn't even leak. The weight is a really comfortable to hold in your hand. And it is so convenient to just put in your backpack and refill during the day."

Aesthetically pleasing Glass water bottle with a filter

"A lightweight water bottle that's aesthetically pleasing and easy to tote around. It comes in this beautiful blue color and is transparent glass through the center which allows you to monitor your water intake easily. The filter filtered the water and gave it a fresh crisp taste. The bottle holds the perfect amount of water of 20oz and the glass bottle keeps your water at your perfect temperature longer. I love this water bottle/ filter and it will surely be a staple in my day to day life"

    Adele J. (5/5)

    Fantastic product

"This makes my water taste absolutely delicious! We have city water that is terrible. It tastes great now. I even run my Fiji water through it because I learned that they no longer use safe plastic bottles. Even that great tasting water tastes better when drunk through this!"

    Rhonda R. (5/5)

    Great thirst quencher

"I have spread the word on LifeStraw and so far there have been others that have joined me in buying the best of the best water bottles."

    Sandra K. (5/5)

    Great bottle

"I really appreciate the ability to have purified water in hand and on the go, but I wish it was bigger and held more water and also that the suction on the lid was more open. Feels like too much work trying to drink water out of the bottle. Maybe I’m wrong. Love your products nonetheless, have gotten rid of every other water filtration pitchers we had after purchasing LifeStraw."

    Q&A

Does it still filter out the Mac bacteria at 0.2 microns?
Yes. The LifeStraw Go Series Glass uses LifeStraw’s membrane microfilter technology, which has a 0.2 micron pore size and is designed to filter bacteria, parasites, and microplastics from drinking water. We cannot confirm species specific reduction for MAC unless that organism is included in the product’s verified testing documentation. At this time, we do list Mycobacterium tuberculosis, but not Mycobacterium avium complex specifically.
I know the bottle filters lead, but is the glass bottle itself lead-free?
Hello! Thank you for your question. Yes. The LifeStraw Go Series Glass bottle is made from borosilicate glass and is lead free. All materials that contact drinking water are tested and approved for safe food and beverage use.
I now own, for about 3 weeks, a go series 20-ounce glass bottle. Very pleased with the quality thus far. First, is it necessary to remove the fiberglass shield from the bottle prior to washing? Second, If I use the bottle at least once a week and exclusively drink tap water, is it necessary to store the membrane filter in salt water consistently, or will a thorough rinsing usually suffice? Thanks so much for your kind help.
Hello, I’m glad you’re enjoying your Go Series 20 ounce glass bottle. First, you do not need to remove the silicone sleeve prior to washing. However, it is recommended to remove it occasionally so both the glass and the sleeve can dry completely. This helps prevent moisture buildup between the sleeve and bottle, which can lead to mold over time. Second, if you are using the bottle at least once a week and primarily filtering tap water, you do not need to store the membrane filter in salt water. Salt storage is intended for long term storage when the filter will not be used for an extended period. With regular weekly use, a thorough rinse of the membrane with clean water is sufficient. It is important not to let the membrane dry out. After rinsing, reassemble the bottle or keep the filter in a clean, sealed environment to prevent drying. Regular rinsing and consistent use will help maintain flow rate and extend the life of the filter.
    Does it filter fluoride?
Hello! Thanks for getting in touch with us! The LifeStraw products are designed to remove contaminants such as bacteria, parasites, microplastics, heavy metals (including lead), PFAS, and more depending upon the specific filter. However, it does not remove fluoride, as our focus is on reducing harmful contaminants while retaining essential minerals. Please see our the comparison chart for quick reference on what each device will remove: https://lifestraw.com/pages/compare For more detailed information, you can visit the product page and under "resources" you can find a performance data sheet and lab report for in-depth results for stated claims.
